New music service Dotcom will draw up Baboom - TeK.sapo
On parole, Kim Dotcom had announced last week that it would abandon the project but that cloud had launched and focus on developing a project connected to music, buying time to focus on battles court in which it is involved.
Still waiting for the judgment on his extradition to the USA for alleged crimes against copyright, Kim Dotcom said in an interview with TorrentFreak that is very excited about the new project.
The new service is in development but will only be released in a few months, with a business model that aims to give artists more freedom and control over their careers, surpassing some of the criticisms that have been made to “corsets” industry.
It is not yet clear whether the subscription is paid or free, but Kim Dotcom guarantees that are already guaranteed the presence of big names in the music scene.
Although Mega abandon the project, Dotcom did not leave this service orphan and had recently named Vikram Kumar to the post of executive director. Some plans also allow to predict the long-term projects for the cloud service, as the company’s entry in the New Zealand stock exchange and is due to Initial Public Offering (IPO) in August of next year.
Kim Dotcom also plans to launch a political party in New Zealand to participate in the 2014 elections, even if it does not have permission to apply on their own behalf, since it does not have a residence permit in the country.Written under the new Orthographic Agreement
