MAVEN spacecraft has been launched toward to Mars - The Ball

capsule MAVEN – acronym that corresponds translated Atmospheric and Volatile Evolution of Mars – will take about ten months to reach the orbit of the Red Planet. To be more specific, NASA planned arrival to Sept. 22, 2014.

The MAVEN spacecraft cost 671 million dollars and is included in the second mission of the American Scout, dedicated to the exploration of Mars before be sent there a manned mission, which NASA believes that happen in 2030.
